Days 1-4: Saadani Wildlife
Day 1: Arrival & Game Drive
Transfer to Saadani National Park. Afternoon game drive on arrival. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 2: Canoe & Culture
Morning canoe on Mafue River for bird watching. Afternoon cultural tour to Saadani village. Overnight at lodge.
Day 3: Mkwaja Game Drive
Full morning game drive spotting giraffe, buffalo, and maybe lion. Afternoon beach relaxation.
Day 4: Wami River Safari
Boat safari on Wami River to see hippos and crocodiles. Full day game drives with packed lunch.
Days 5-10: Mountain Trekking
Day 5: Voyage to Lushoto
Transfer from coast to mountains. Check in at Lawns Hotel in Lushoto.
Day 6: Magamba Rainforest
Hike uphill towards Magamba rainforest. See colobus monkeys and chameleons. Stay at Papaa Moze Lodge in Lukozi.
Day 7: Village Trek
Walk through Manolo and Sunga villages. Experience traditional life. Stay at Rangwi Sisters Guest House.
Day 8: Mtae Viewpoint
Trek to pottery village, traditional healer visit. Walk to Mtae View Point for sunset. Stay at Mambo View Point.
Day 9-10: Shagayu Peak & Departure
Climb Shagayu Peak (2400m). Visit local schools. Descend to Irente for lunch before departure.
