Days 1-5: Trekking & Mkomazi
Days 1-3: Usambara Trekking
Three days of trekking through Magamba rainforest, traditional villages, pottery workshops, and Mtae View Point. Stay at local guesthouses.
Days 4-5: Mkomazi National Park
Transfer to Mkomazi for two days in and around the park. A sanctuary visit is requested in advance and remains subject to confirmation; overnight arrangements are confirmed in your quote.
Days 6-9: Caves & Coast
Day 6: Tanga City
Depart for Tanga and explore historic buildings with local context. The overnight arrangement is confirmed in your quote.
Day 7: Amboni Caves
Visit Amboni Caves with confirmed local access, then transfer towards Pangani. The overnight arrangement is confirmed in your quote.
Day 8: Pangani History
Explore historic buildings and sites connected with Pangani’s trading history, including difficult histories linked to the slave trade.
Day 9: Maziwe Island & Depart
A marine excursion may be arranged if weather, sea conditions and local access allow, followed by departure.
